Happy heart day!

Cupid came to our house last night he left a pink and red balloon in both girls rooms and they were thrilled to wake up to the colorful surprise. It's amazing how cheerful balloons can make one feel inside. We came downstairs to heart wrapped gifts on the table and sat down and ate waffles with whip cream & strawberries and drank pink milk! Daddy read us a new book called "Ruby Saves Valentines". It was so nice to have sweet, slow paced morning with the girls. Today we celebrate the love we have for each other, our families & friends not just today but everyday. Happy 1st Valentine's to our sweet baby girl...thanks for completing our circle of LOVE! XO

Pumpkin Patch Galore

Well our kids can't say we never took them to the pumpkin patch, that is for sure! We've been to more then our share this year but enjoyed all of them with some of our favorite friends. Presley has been fascinated by the noise, movement and scenery. Chloe's favorite is the rides!

Memorial Day Weekend at Catamaran

Memorial Day weekend we checked into the Catamaran Hotel with the Grismer family. Weather wasn't perfect but we made the best of it swimming, eating, biking and enjoying each other.

Chloe turned 4! She had a gymnastics party at Gyminny Kids with 25 friends. The kids had blast with the instructors for 1.5 hours training doing various obstacles ending with cake, popcorn and Happy Birthday! It was such a joy to see the look on her face when everyone was signing Happy Birthday to her.

We sure do love our Chloe Isabella...she is one of a kind. Very social, loves to lead the crowd, sing, dance (but not in dance class on her own terms). She is a feisty little lady with a strong mind, not easy to persuade unless it's something she has her mind set on otherwise it's game on. She says the absolute darndest things and keeps us entertained 24/7. She has a very loving heart and is an excellent older sister that loves her baby sister so much. We feel so blessed to have her in our lives and part of our family. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents Chloe we LOVE you!!

Presley - Week by Week

Oh goodness our little P is already 13 weeks and I've failed to blog all but once. Chloe had an entire website to her name so I think it would only be fair to do a slide show of Presley week by week to show her growth. Before posting the photos I must add that this little lady has truly blessed our family and was an instant fit. Chloe thanks us almost daily for her baby sister and wakes up everyday smoothers her in kisses and tells her she is the cutest baby in the world. We're not even exaggerating she LOVES her dearly.

Presley is a very good baby for the most part except for the fact that since about 4 weeks old from about 7:00 to 10ish, five nights out of seven she is cranky, gassy, fussy etc. We trade off holding, bouncing, feeding (that is 97% of the time mom), throughout the evening until around 10:30 which is when she decides to have her last meal of the day and go to bed for the night. She then wakes up around 4 or 5 am for a little snack goes back to sleep until about 7 when she wakes for her breakfast. She typically is very happy when she first wakes, giggles, smiles, looks around and watches the morning madness in our home and then goes down for her morning nap and the day usually continues with a similar routine. Still sleeps about 18 of the 24 hours. She loves baths, likes to be held facing out, likes car rides, stroller rides, music and gives her biggest grins to her Daddy even though Chloe and I play "I want the smile" with her all day long. Since we're pretty sure is our last baby I admit-tingly rock her to sleep, feed her on demand, still have her in her bassinet next to our bed, and give her, her passy anytime she wants it which is A LOT. Clearly I'm not doing things by the book...and will probably have to pay for it later on. I just can't get over how quickly they grow up.

Presley London

We welcomed the most adorable baby girl to our family on March 29, at 1:27 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long.

Presley's labor and birth was amazing and basically text book which was a dream compared to how her older sister entered the world. Thursday March 24th at my regular exam Dr Silverman informed me that I was dilated to almost a 3 and should start getting ready for her arrival. This was a shock and sent me in an immediate tail spin because I really was expecting her to be on time, if not late, like her sister was and I had an enormous list of things to do to prepare. The next few days were spent running around like a maniac stocking up on household goods, food etc. Getting the carpets cleaned, writing lists, cleaning the house, packing just in case bags for everyone and mentally preparing for labor. By Sunday I knew she was debuting soon because of all of the changes and motions going on in my body. Low and behold Tuesday at 4:30 am I woke up to some strange feelings and by 6 am I was feeling contractions. It was a Tuesday so we carried on with our usual Tuesday routine by getting Chloe ready and off to school. Called the doctor and was told to go straight to Scripps La Jolla. Checked in around 9:45 which at that time contractions were about 5 minutes apart so they admitted me and within an hour I was all set epidural and all, in labor and delivery. Jamie Lynn and Justin kept me company and calm while we passed time and waited to fully dilate. By 1:00 I was at a 10 and ready for show time, within 30 minutes and a few good pushes Presley debuted. She had a very loud cry and started sucking right away. We spent the next few days in the hospital recovering, had lots of visitors and went home to Nina and sister at 2 days old.

We were very lucky to have lots of family and friends come to meet Presley from all over. The first week took some adjusting especially for Mom and mainly the multitasking with both kids but it didn't take long before we got into the swing of things and now 2 months later we don't know life without "sister" as Chloe calls her! Welcome to the family Presley you've blessed our home more then you could know and you are so very, very loved and adored by all.

We feel beyond blessed and fortunate to have such wonderful friends! Thank you all that threw and attended the showers, sprinkles & dinners for our sweet baby girl. Everything was perfect and we couldn't be more excited for her to put everything to use and debut all of her new stylish clothes digs.

Highlights of Q1 2011

Well fans we've really blown it thus far in 2011 but we promise to get back on it and update at minimum once a month moving forward. In the meantime we're alive and well and busy as can be. A few fun highlights for Q1 are; Chloe started dance again with a few of her girlfriends from school, Valentines was a fun holiday although Mama has a terrible stomach flu, we saw Yo Gabba Gabba and Disney on Ice live, had a tea party with Cinderella!

Big Girl Bed for Chloe

If you're a parent you know what a big step this is for everyone in the household. Chloe's turn came much later then most kids...she graduated from her crib to a big girl bed in January! Never once in her 3 years of sleeping in a crib did she try to get out in fact she loved it so much she was emotional while we took it down. Once she laid eyes on her new bed she was very excited and hasn't mentioned her crib since. We're happy to report that as worried as we were about her getting in and out on her own and fearing that bed time would be a nightmare, gratefully it has been a smooth transition and she is very proud of her new bed! Our sweet little baby Chloe has grown up so fast.

Ringing in 2011 - Park City

While we were in Utah Mom and Dad were able to sneak a few days of adult fun in and headed for Park City to ring in the New Year. Jamie and Jake met them there for a few days of cabin fun, lots of snowboarding, dining out, board games and a new year celebration in below zero weather! Mom and I both agree that the facial hair that Dad grew is not a good look for him and quite creepy.

A white Christmas in Utah

Nina and Grandpa relocated this past summer to Utah, for Christmas we took our first out of state Isaac family road trip to visit them. We had so much fun catching up with family, getting all the cousins together, playing in the snow, snowboarding and simply hanging out indoors and eating good food. Oh and Santa brought Chloe exactly what she wished for, her first American girl doll named Kit that she had been wanting for a very long time!

Lindsay & Barry tied the knot!

Mama's dear friend Lindsay McCall Evans tied the knot October 29th in Temecula! Mama was honored to be in Lindsay and Barry's wedding and although being the maid of honor made her stress for a month about her speech she pulled it off okay and was honored to stand up for this wonderful couple. Congrats L & B what a blast we had throughout your celebrations.

We had loads of fun in October most of it revolved around Halloween; pumpkin patches, school celebrations, trick or treating & Halloween parties! Chloe fell in love with Belle at Disneyland and there was not convincing her to be anything else.

We want to share some of our favorite memories from September which is where we left off.

Chloe started preschool at her new school Willow Grove where she continues to go, she loves her teachers Mrs Pray and Mrs Barlow and all of her school mates.

Miss Chloe turned 3 on September 18th and was spoiled with several little celebrations with her friends and a big celebration at Disneyland. We spent two full days at Disney with her grandparents (Zannie & Papa T) and great grandparents (Papado & Nana) including a dinner at Club 33. She is still talking about meeting Belle, Ariel & Tiana.

Lastly, Mama had another birthday and was fortunate enough to spend a weekend in Laguna Beach at the Montage Resort with a group of her besties!

Okay so summer 2010 came and went along time ago! Truth is Mama had a rough first trimester with this pregnancy and went into survival mode for 4 months meaning basically nothing outside the basic needs got done around our house, our blog being one of them. But we're tickled pink and very excited about our baby girl due to arrive April 15, 2011! No name yet but a running list if you have any suggestions we'd love to hear them.

Jessica & Lorin tie the knot!

My parents and I took a very long drive to San Francisco to attend Jessica's (my dads cousin) wedding. The ceremony was private but we had a fabulous time at both the BBQ celebration and the formal reception. I was by far the busiest dancing queen this party had every seen. The food was some of the best wedding food my parents had ever tasted and the armadillo cake was to die for if I do say myself, and believe me I know because I had the first taste.

While in San Fran it was great to spend some quality time with my Zannie and Papa Tony at Zannie's house. I'm still talking about the fact that Zannie and I had sleepovers every night. We were also able to squeeze in an afternoon with Vivi and Pop I lunching and visiting my favorite Pacifica park.

Summer Lovin

Summer has come and is almost over sniff, sniff. The warm sunny weather just debuted here in San Diego but we still managed to make the most of our summer days by staying busy doing all sorts of exciting activities. Just to name a few; birthday parties of course, water parks, beach days, Wild Animal Park, bike rides, play dates & more. You know what they say a picture is worth a thousand words, enjoy!

Summer hit us full swing in June! I had a two week swimming lesson with Mr Ryan at Westview highschool which frankly I was not a huge fan of and basically only swam with Mr Ryan my instructor on the very last day of my session, he was scary with all that white zink on his face and huge straw hat. Regardless Mama says at least I'm not a fearless nut in the water this year like I was last year. She is enjoying her time at the pool with me now that I prefer to stay near the steps and proceed with some caution. I've had some very fun playdates with my friends at their swimming pools just love getting WET!

Little Miss USA

4th of July week was loads of fun! Zannie & Papa T came down from SF for a long weekend and spoiled me rotten while Mama and Daddy went to Palm Springs. Zannie & PT took me to the SD fair to ride rides and pet the animals, Corvette diner for dinner one night, to Julian for the 4th of July hometown parade and apple pie and to my favorite park for a picnic! We also saw a wonderful firework show at our local highschool on July 2. My parents enjoyed a few days with their friends at the La Quinta Resort basking in the heat, swimming & dining.

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy and to my Grandpa K, Pop I, Papado, Papa Tony & Great Grandpa Mac!

Pop I came for a visit from SF this weekend and we had tons of fun! We took a trip to the Zoo, ate Pizza for lunch at Lefty's in Mission Hills, read books and played. We spent Father's Day in Pacific Beach/Mission Beach riding beach cruisers around the beach & bay, brunched at Gringo's and finished off the afternoon at the park on the bay! Hats off to a fabulous father's day I sure do love my Daddy and thanks Pop I for visiting us!

On May 20th my parents celebrated their 5 year wedding anniversary! According to them time has flown by and the best thing that has happened in those lovely five years is me, princess Chloe! From what they've told me they went on their honeymoon to Turks and Caicos, celebrated in Italy & Greece for 15 days for the 1st year anniversary, Hawaii for their 2nd year and by the 3rd year I came along and they stead home and ordered in (pretty funny huh)! This year they went to dinner without me in Del Mar and are going to Cabo San Lucas Mexico while I stay with Nina and Grandpa K which is fine by me ;)! Happy anniversary Mom & Dad have fun on your trip!

Early this month Zannie and Papa Tony came from SF to celebrate Zannie's birthday with us and to top it off Nana and Papado rolled into SD also! We enjoyed a long weekend eating lots of delicious food made by Zannie's private chef Tony, catching up, showing off all my latest tricks and spending quality time with each other. Mama & Daddy got were able to sneak in an adult night away and went up to the OC to catch up with friends. While they were away Papa Tony made me my favorite recipe "Big Chicken" and took me to La Jolla shores for breakfast at Harry's and afterwards to see the seals! It was a very special weekend with 4 generations together under one roof.

Hippity Hop Hop - Easter 2010

WOW this past week has been a lot of fun! It started with an egg hunt with my play group and ended with a delicious Sunday brunch with good friends at Paradise Grill in Del Mar. In between we've dyed eggs as a family, met the real Easter Bunny at another egg hunt and woke up Sunday morning with my basket full of goodies, eggs all over the family room and two Zui Zui pets along with the track (which I've been wanting for awhile now)! We also attended service at Horizon this morning to celebrate the true meaning of Easter and what Jesus did for us! Last but not least we had a 6.9 earthquake this afternoon in the middle of my nap it was scary!

I had the chance to spend some extra QT with my Kuch cousins Kallie, Porter & sweet baby Katelyn while they were in transisition between moving from Utah to China! That is right, my cousins now live in China. Before they left they were staying at Nina and Grandpa's house so we drove up to play with them a couple of times. I really enjoyed playing Barbies and dolls with Kallie and going on little dates with Mom and her to Jamba Juice, Coffee Bean and playing tea party while eating yummy snacks. Since Kallie is older me I'm fascinated by all of the neat things she can do like sit in a big girl seat in the car etc. Porter my only boy cousin who is just 9 months older then me is a blast to play with. Mom walked in on us playing and found him stuffed in a costco wipe box while I was patting his head with a hot pad and playing barber shop. We also had fun running around wild and play rough with each other. I'm glad I was able to celebrate his 3rd Birthday with him because I'm not certain if I'll be able to make it all the way to China for his next bday...but anything is possible. Last but not least sweet baby Katelyn is like a real life doll that I was able to hold, feed and love. I've been asking for a baby sister ever since and am hoping for one just like her one day (as in tomorrow)! I'm going to miss my cousins so much there is nothing like blood relatives!

I Heart Valentine's Month

February was a fun month and I especially loved celebrating Valentine's day! It started with a package from my Auntie Trisha full of fun toys, candy & a super cute tutu (see photos), continued with lots of valentine cards in the mail along with homemade cookies from Zannie. I was able to spend Valentines weekend with Nina, Grandpa K & cousins while my parents went ice skating (skiing but I call it ice skating) in Big Bear with friends which was a blast. At school we exchanged Valentines and ate delicious goodies. Mrs. Brooke, Siena's Mom hosted a fun party for my playgroup where I yet again collected more cute cards and goodies! And last but not least Papa Tony sent me Christmas in February which consisted of Melissa & Doug easel, art supplies, a new fancy red dress & a monkey that rolls all over the place! It would be totally cool with me if every month were just like February.

Daddy took me on a DDD (daddy daughter date) a few weeks ago to see my first movie in the theather. We saw Alvin and the Chipmonks the Sequal and I loved it! Although I'm not certain if I liked the movie as much as I did the pop corn and M&M's but regardless it looks like I may take after my Grandpa K and be a movie regular!

Rode into the New Year

Literally...Happy 2010 fans! I had no intention of starting the year off with no blog entries but it took us some time to set up our new computer I hope you all forgive us and that we didn't lose any if you. 2010 is flying by and we've been having lots of fun. I continue to stay busy with lots of birthday celebrations, playdates, school and I started gymnastics which I'm truly enjoying espically the swing and rings!

My parents and grandparents seem to think I turn into more and more of a character everyday and for those of you who know me you probably agree. Mama is constantly asking me where her baby went and the phase "Chloe is a big girl now" is often repeated. I'm offically potty trained yippee! And for the most part I'm proud of it except for the fact that I do find it a little inconvienant at times and get tired of everyone asking if I have to "go"! I'm still the little mommy always mothering all of my babies and you'll find me in a pink princess dress about 75% of the time. I'm also a huge fan of art so painting, drawing pictures etc is part of our daily routine! Here are some of my latests paparazzi photos.

Christmas with the cousins!

I had such a wonderful Christmas at Nina and Grandpa's house! It was my first Christmas with cousins and it was a blast. Mia and Savayah came all the way from Utah with Aunt Kizzy. I ruled the house for 5 days straight getting into any and everything in sight. My cousins taught me to use the big girl potty and drink from a cup with no lid, I wanted to be just like them. I know secretly mama is sad because I ditched those new habits the minute we got home. My reason for doing so is because I figure that it is the best way for me to get mama to book our flights to visit them in Utah ;)! Christmas was magical Santa brought me a kitchen, scooter, clothes, princess dress, doll house and a Yo Gabba Gabba bomb box, stamps & more! I continue to sing at jiggle bells and Santa Clause is coming to town at the top of my lungs, who says you can only sing those songs at xmas time anyways?? I was really getting into this whole holiday thing and then BAM I woke up from my nap yesterday and mama had taken down all of the decorations and the tree was gone, not to mention the humongous blow up snow man right off our freeway exit was taken down ;(! Just like what mama said after Halloween when we put the pumpkins away "Christmas is over honey you'll have to wait until next year!" I'm already looking forward to next year!

Holiday Cheer

Gearing up for the holidays is OH SO FUN! I've had a couple little parties one with my play group and the other I hosted for Addy and Ava S. Addy and Ava came over and we did Christmas crafts and decorated gingerbread cookies and we had a gift exchange I was pretty happy with my pink pony! As a family we've decorated the tree, walked our neighborhood about a million times looking at everyone's lights, driven Christmas card lane (this amazing neighborhood where each person decorates their homes for miles and miles), visited Santa and absolutely LOVE getting our mail each day and receiving all of the beautiful holiday cards! And last weekend because of the rain our Holiday at Seaworld with the Glatfelters was changed to Playwrex and pizza in Carlsbad we had a blast and loved spending time with them (photos to come later on another camera). I'm looking forward to spending Christmas with my cousins Savayah and Mia at Nina & Grandpas house in a few days. Merry Christmas everyone!

A San Francisco Thanksgiving!

Dad, Mom and I drove up to San Francisco to celebrate Turkey Day with Dad's family! We had so much fun catching up with all of the relatives and spending quality time with Zannie, Papa Tony, Pop I and Vivian. We had a terrific time at Frontier Park which is the same park Dad used to play at when he was little. On Black Friday we drove into the city where Dad and Zannie took me ice skating for the first time in Union Square, I was a little wobbly but had a great time trying! We had a delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner at Auntie Ann & Uncle Fords house where after the feast I managed to get uncle Ford real hyper and we both threw pillows around and goofed off. It's along drive for SD to SF but I did pretty good if I do say so myself, thank heavens for portable DVD players! Enjoy the photos of our trip.

Mom & Dad are constantly laughing, gasping and questioning some of the things that have been coming out of my mouth lately. I'm always adding new words to my vocabulary and Mom is afraid that she is going to forget some of the cute little things I say, so for the record here are a few...

Last week my Nina drove all the way down and back from Thousand Oaks to spend the day with Mama and I. We went to one of my favorite parks and played on all of the fun and dangerous juggle gyms. Then took a trip to the toy store and afterwords had lunch at CPK. Later Mom and Dad went to dinner while I had Nina all to myself. Thanks Nina for driving so far to spend the day with us we sure wish you lived down the street!
A few recent things I'd like to share. We're very lucky for many reasons but one is because we live so close to Del Mar and every afternoon until the early evening there are at least 2 to 5 hot air balloons floating in the sky near our home many of which land right in our neighborhood. I LOVE chasing them down the street and watching them land and deflate. I also continue to love doing art projects in school (see below for photos of some of my recent favorites). And as always I continue to have lots of fun on my play dates and attend all of the fun birthday parties for all of my little friends. Last but not least I continue to HEART Lilly aka heavy baby (notice she is in many of my photos).

Halloween Take 3!

My third Halloween was yesterday and man oh man did I LOVE it! This year I figured out that trick or treat = CANDY and I totally dug it. Mom dressed me in my Miss Halloween outfit to sport around during the day and once the sun started to go down I turned into Little Miss Flamingo! My costume was a hit, I'm not sure if it beat Miss Peacock from last year, it's still a close call...what do you think?? Our neighborhood had a San Lorenza Spooktacular which started off with pizza and salad, a craft table, fun little toys from all the neighbors, loads of treats, a round of trick or treating and ended with Halloween episodes of Barney and my other favorites on a huge projector screen. I had so much fun and far too much candy as you can probably tell by the photos!

October = Pumpkin Patches & loads of fun!

I've really enjoyed October! Although it has not cooled down yet and we haven't needed to break out the jackets it is offically fall and the festivities that go along with it are oh so fun! A few weeks ago we took a beautiful Sunday drive east to meet some friends at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center. I had a blast with Addy and Ava S running around the huge farm filled with thousands of pumpkins, a petting zoo where I got to hold baby bunnies and ride my first pony. There were also hay rides, hay mazes, jumpers, scare crows and last but not least delicious homemade kettle corn.I also visited one of the local pumpkin patches with my neighbor friend Ava K and her Mommy Leila. We had a great time on rides, feeding the animals and collecting pumpkins filling our wagons.

At school I've had tons of fun working on of Halloween projects like my paper ghost puppet & Halloween book! At dance class we had the choice of wearing our costumes and got to do a solo performance. I was a hit with my solo performance but opted out of wearing my costume. SHHH I just wanted to save it for my official debut this weekend.

Not only was I lucky enough to have a BIG party to bring on two on my actual birthday we had a family celebration as well. I woke up to birthday balloons and gifts from my parents and then played all day with Zannie, Papa Tony, Papado and Nana at our house. That evening we had Mexican dinner at Tio Leo's where Auntie Trisha and Matt joined us. The food was delicious and the company was even better. Our waitress brought me vanilla ice cream with fudge surup and loads of whip cream it was heavenly! We then came back to our house and I opened lots of great gifts. Thanks everyone for traveling all the way down from San Francisco to be part of my celebration.Zannie and Papa T stead the entire week! We had so much fun playing together, going to Balboa Park and spending a few days at Harrah's Casino. I sure do miss you both!

I'm tutu excited to be sharing photos from my Abby Cadabby party! My parents threw me a fabulous celebration on September 19th with tons of my best friends and relatives. Abby Cadabby was the main entertainment and guest of honor. We decorated wands with jewels and stickers, ate tons of all kinds of sweets such as candy, ice cream and cupcakes and all of my guests received fairy wings or capes! It's Mama Isaac stepping in for our yearly update on our little princess. Time is continuing to fly by and now our little lady is offically two. As I'm sure most parents do every year their child has a birthday, the day goes over in your head hour by hour every year. I know my Mom text messaged me this year the exact minute I was born which was 31 years ago. So of course on September 18th I was constantly thinking about my labor with Chloe in complete awe that two years had already passed by. Chloe has matured leaps and bounds since her 1st birthday becoming quite the character. Over this past year she has continued to melt our hearts and manages to constantly keep us on our toes and surprise us with a new trick almost daily. She continues to love/be obsessed with baby dolls constantly nurturing them by feeding them, changing them, bathing them, rocking them and moving them from place to place etc. On the flip side she has convinced herself that ALL baby dolls are hers and that she should always get first dibs when there is one in her presence, this has created a few touchy situations from time to time but were working through it. She loves to play with play doh, draw pictures, play beauty shop and comb our hair, swim, swing, slide and loves the beach and has huge fascination with the moon (were convinced she is going to go there one day).

For the record her stats at her two year appointment were; weight 31 lbs, height 36.5, head 19.5 (all in the 90 - 95% range). Our little princess is growing up very fast ,we know we can't stop time so were doing our best to soak up every minute and enjoy each moment.

Labor Day 09 enjoying some sunshine!

Labor Day weekend was loads of fun. We were able to spend an entire day at one of our favorite spots in San Diego which is 15th Street beach in Del Mar on the grassy knoll. I know it sounds silly to set up camp on the grass when your at the beach but let me tell you the clean up is a lot better and when your cooking it's key. We pitched our gazebo, broke out our new portable grill, filled the kiddie pool and enjoyed an entire day into the evening with wonderful friends. It's tradition to gather everyone at least once each summer for an all day-er at 15th Street and definitely one of those traditions I look forward to for many years to come.

PS It's September 15th today and I"m still wearing my white sandals...does that make me a rebel ?

First Day of School - Miss Lynda's Preschool

Well folks today I hit another milestone, my first day of school! Of course I could have gone to Harvard, Yale or Berkeley but I was to worried about leaving my parents (what would they do) so I'm going to stay in San Diego and go to Miss Lynda's Preschool right here in Carmel Valley! Mom and Dad made sure I got to bed on time last night, ate a healthy breakfast and picked out a brand new back to school dress to wear. I was not sure why this whole school thing was such a big deal but the paparazzi was once again in full effect with a million photos and video.

I entered just like a pro pulling my roller pack down the entry to the front door and walking right in and saying hello to Miss Lynda. I then proceeded to go straight to the...you'll never guess______?? The baby and stroller which was icing on the cake for me. I was just fine when my parents left and the teacher told Mom later that I turn around and said "Mommy will be back" and that was the end of that. We played outside, read books, sand songs and made necklace's with cutouts of our hand prints, mine was purple with smile face stickers. I was happy to see Mommy when she came to pick me up but still wanted to give each and every kid a hug good bye and four hugs for Miss Lynda! I guess you could say the first day couldn't have gone better.

San Diego Summer - All the fun places one can go!

Sorry fans I know it's been awhile since we've posted an update. Summer has flown by but has been loads of fun. I'm 23 months now headed for the big 2. Talking up a storm, singing my abc's and various other songs, have mastered most of my colors, some shapes and a few letters. Still into babies, water, PBS kids network and playing with my friends and family. Let me show you what I've been up to these past few months.

Beach days with Daddy! I LOVE the waves and have no fear what so ever.

Staying cool at Kid Venture which is an indoor play center with every kind of room you can imagine. Of course my favorite is the nursery.

Love me some water! If it's not the beach or a swim pool it's backyard fun or the bath tub. Even more fabulous when a friend joins me.

I went to Legoland for the first time with Addy & Ava S! It was a blast I loved the rides, the new Aquarium and last but not least the water land that includes swings. Doesn't get better then swings and water combined.

Crystle Pier with my Nina & Papa K! We were tourist for a day and went to Pacific Beach, Bird Rock Beach and La Jolla Village. I love when my Nina and Papa!

Good Times in the Neighborhood

Aw sweet summer, how I love thee! Summer fun just keeps getting better and better. This past weekend we had movie night right here in our neighborhood. We kicked it off with a delicious potluck BBQ followed by a dance party and then we watched Mickey Mouse Club & Barney on a projection screen. I had a blast running around after dark with all my friends jumping on the air mattress, playing babies, chalk art & eating lots of yummy treats! We're so grateful for the wonderful group of people we live next to and its extra special that I have 7 girls very close in age right outside my door! Can't wait for next years annual!
The following morning we got to play with all the girls again at Ava K's 2nd Birthday party at My Gym! I had a blast rolling around in the balls, playing games & eating Pizza and Minnie Mouse cake! Happy Birthday Ava we love you!

As mentioned in the previous post I was in Thousand Oaks with my Grandparents for the actual July 4th this year we'll my parents were in Palm Springs. The highlight of the holiday was the neighborhood parade that my cousins and I were in. Then we spent the day playing in the kiddie pool and feasting on Grandpa & Nina's delicious 4th of July spread. Thanks again Nina & Grandpa for taking me in for the weekend I know it was exhausting especially since I had a cold. Since I've been back I walk around the house saying "where are you Nina, are you?"

Well fans its now July believe it or not! We celebrated 4th of July as a family at the Santaluz Summer celebration with a good old fashion fair. They had booths with games, bouncy stations and a delicious traditional BBQ. The wonderful evening was top off with an amazing firework show right above our heads! Cousin Time

My cousins Savayah age 6 and Mia age 3 came to play with me for a few days all the way from Utah! We had so much fun playing with my toys, introducing them to my friends, going to the park and last but not least visiting the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. Then I got to go on a little road trip to Thousand Oaks and stay with Nina and Grandpa while my parents went to Palm Springs for their annual trip with friends. On Friday the my other two cousins Kallie age 4 and Porter age 2 joined us for some Kuch family fun. It was a full house with a lot of excitement.

I took my first ballet/dance or as I call it "dance dance" class at Love to Dance Inc. today. My instructor is Mrs. Mindy and there are are about 12 other little dancers in my class. I really enjoyed every part about it from getting dressed up in my tutu, learning the Plie, doing the Choo Choo train & dancing with the baby bears. Oh and to top it all off my new friend Siena from swimming is in my class and we got stamps at the end. I'm really looking forward to next week!

I'd like to introduce my lil neighborhood pals! Believe it or not there are about 7 girls born with in a year of each other most of them within 4 months of me. In the evenings we head down to the Cul-de-sac and play! We typically share bikes, shopping carts, strollers and there is always plenty of side walk chalk. I look forward to our evening play dates and have recently started saying "girls, girls" around 5:00 which is my way of requesting we go. *From left to right in the photo above Jillian, Bailie, Me, Ava & Tabitha we're missing Ava Z, Claire, Stephanie.

Today I started swimming lessons for the first time at a place called Floaties and I LOVED it! My teachers name is Miss Tracy, she is very nice and so much fun. I have two other girls in my class Sienna who is 16 months and Alexia 7 months. Floaties is an inside pool, the water nice and warm at 88 degrees which I found very relaxing. I can't wait until my next lesson on Wednesday.

PS Mom was thrilled that it went so well! She was very concerned on the drive there as to how I would behave especially since she had to wake me up in the middle of my afternoon siesta.

May Days

My goodness May sure came and went just like that! Can you believe we're at the half way mark of 2009? May was full of great fun! I hit the 20 month mark and continue to grow like a weed. I've been expanding my vocabulary daily, recogning faces with names, telling my parents when I'm going pee pee (not quite before but while we're working on warning them before hand), I know all of my body parts and have moved on to the more difficult ones like arm pit, knees, elbows etc. I can tell you who anything in our home belongs to either mine, Daddy's or Mommy's. One of my latest is lining things up such as cleaning products or dishes and organizing them. I love hanging out with the kids in our neighborhood riding bikes and pushing our babies around. I continue to have fun at My Gym which is my Gymboree class and exploring San Diego's hip spots with my gal pals!
May was full of fun events such as Memorial Day, Addy's 1st b-day party, BBQ's and having Kelly's going away fiesta!

I finally got to meet Gabby G & parents! Gabby's mommy Katie and my Daddy grew up together and have been friends for decades. We've been trying to get together with them since I was an infant and finally this week it happened and it was worth the wait. Gabby and I were two peas in a pod running around hugging or duking it out for the same toy. We had fun bathing, playing in my backyard and most of all at the San Diego Zoo! Last Friday Chloe found a new love for her ballerina dress that she received from Aunt Julie for Christmas. She was walking around the house looking herself in each mirror and twirling around. Later I caught her in her bedroom playing with her dolls and managed to sneak a few photos.

Mothers Day 2009

We had big plans for Mothers Day this year but things changed Saturday evening when I came down with the stomach flu. Instead we barely made it to breakfast in the morning because we were all so tired from being up all night with my fever and nausea. We spent the afternoon in the doctors office waiting to be seen. I over heard Mama saying it's all part of being a Mom, so I guess she wasn't too disappointed. Daddy and I did give her a dozen roses and a very nice card. She did manage to document breakfast & our visit to the doctors enjoy the pix.

April was a very busy month for us, luckily it included a lot of little vacations and family! First Daddy went to Mammoth on a boys trip, then we all headed to San Fran for Zannie's 60th & Easter. The following week Zannie and Papa came to our house for a visit and then we joined them in Palm Springs. Pop I came down for a weekend from Pacifica to check in on us. And last but not least Mama and I went to Thousand Oaks for 4 days to see Grandpa K, Nina, Great Grandpa Mac & Uncle Zeke! Oh and Aunt Julie stopped by for lunch in the midst of it all while vacationing solo from Utah. Mama forgot the camera battery so no photos of Palm Springs sorry.

By the way I'm 19 months going on 19 or at least that is what they tell me ;)! Mama will report my latest tricks sometime soon.

My 2nd Easter

I slept in Easter morning due to my long night of partying! Around noon Zannie & Papa T reminded me that the Easter bunny had hidden some "balls" (my word for eggs) in the backyard. It only took me a few seconds to figure out there were goodies inside of them. Of course my parents must have put a bug in the bunny's ear because instead of chocolate, peeps or jelly beans like most kids get there were healthy goodies inside of mine. But don't be fooled I snacked on everyone else's candies while they weren't looking. Candy aside, my favorite part about Easter was receiving my first purse with a puppy inside of it! Little did anyone know that I've watched mom wear her purse for over a year and I was already in the know on how to wear it! I truly am a fashionista.............shopportunity anyone?

I really like this Easter bunny character because not only did he hide eggs for me all over Papa T's house in Navato he also visited our home in San Diego while we were away. Happy 60th Zannie

Papa T threw Zannie a HUGE 60th Birthday Party the Saturday before Easter in Navato! We flew up Friday night to join the festivities and boy did I ever have a great time. Zannie had 70 guests most of which were long-time friends, tons of great food, 60's decorations and music; and last but not least............... a karaoke machine! My favorite part of the evening was dancing with all of the guests and holding the microphone. Once again, I prove that I can groove and shake what took my momma 9 months to make. Of course everyone was very excited to meet the infamous Chloe since they had heard so much about me. The attention was exhausting but I still managed to stay up until midnight! I certainly made sure that my parents know their sole responsibility in life is to entertain, feed, bathe, clothe and chase me around the world!

Fun Flow Play Sink

Mama's Spa Weekend in Utah

Mama left me for the 2nd time for three and half days! She flew to Utah to spend the weekend celebrating my Great Grandma Mimi's 83rd birthday and my Aunt Julie's 31st. The guests were Mimi, Nina, Great Aunt Jen, Great Aunt Kris, Aunt Kizzy & Aunt Julie which was 3 generations of woman on my mothers side. Had I been invited it would have been 4 generations...maybe next time. They stead at the Zermott Resort & Spa where the weekend consisted of eating lots of delicious food including Seafood Buffet and the best shrimp tacos ever, spending the day at the spa, staying up late & sleeping in, lots of girl talk and last but not least playing lots of Wii Fit! Mom was also able to sneak some time in to see all of my cousins which she was thrilled about but I was bummed I missed. Mama said she had a great time but she was very happy to get back to me and Daddy!

PS Daddy and I had so much fun combined with breaking a few rules ;)!

It was 80 degrees this past week! We had a pool party with Addy & Amanda at their complex. At first I was hesitant about getting into the water but as the day went on I warmed up and became a little fish. I'm way more cautious this year then I was last which Mama is thrilled about. Anyways to all you fans in Utah, New York and San Fran that have had a bad winter I must rub it in just a little and maybe it will get you out for a visit!

The life of an 18 month old!

I hit a milestone this past week which puts me at half way to 2! Life consists of eating, drinking, playing at the park, play dates, making messes, playing with my babies, loving Mama & Dada, hugging Bentley and talking half my own language and adding in a new English word to my vocabulary daily! I'm a very loving girl when I want to be but am also very stubborn when I want something, I've definitely proven I can hold my own on the playground.

On Friday I ran a bunch of errands with Mama in the morning and was exhausted when we returned home. Mama quickly changed my diaper and tucked me into bed for a nap. She heard me stirring and talking to myself for quite sometime but knew I was very tired and needed a good nap before my afternoon play date. After about 45 minutes she decided to check on me only to find a shocking disaster! I had soiled my diaper with a #2 and then proceeded to remove my diaper and wipe the remains all over myself & my crib! Mom screamed bloody murder and repeated the words naughty girl over and over as I repeated poo poo Mama, poo poo Mama! Needless to say she was not impressed but I think she learned A- Not to put me to bed without pants over my diaper and B- Not to let so much time pass without checking on me! The funny thing is she had heard of other babies doing this but never thought "her child" would. Lesson learned never underestimate your own child and never say never! She didn't think it was appropriate to document the moment with a photo but enjoy the other photos of me enjoying life at 18 months!

So it's time for me to introduce Baby! She is my baby doll that I'm very in love with. My parents gave her to me around Christmas time secretly she is all I wanted but don't tell them that. She isn't anything fancy like an American doll or a Wetsy Betsey in fact I heard Mom tell Dad she was on clearance at Target. Regardless Baby which happens to be her name is very special to me. I love to hold her, rock her, feed her, stroll her, bath her and my new favorite is to swaddle her. I'm so in love with playing baby dolls that there have been a few incidences lately that well needless to say have embarrassed mama. Today at the doctor a little girl had her baby doll with her in the waiting room I figured all the toys belonged to the doctors office right? So ran over and tried to rip the doll out of the girls arms and when she wouldn't let go I got real aggressive until Mom stepped in and gave me that same old speech about sharing. Then there were a few times and Target and the toy store that I got very frustrated because for some reason all of the babies were stuck in boxes and I wanted them out. Mom often takes me to the toy store to see what else I would be interested in besides baby dolls and well I always run to the baby section and don't want to leave! So there you have it "Nobody puts baby in the corner!" (if you have never seen Dirty Dancing then you will not understand this quote and your missing out on a great film)

Howdy fans! I've been quite the social butterfly lately. I've seen and been seen all over town! Now that Mama is home with me my social calendar has been non stop with play dates, birthday parties and Seaworld just to name a few.
* It's been a lot of fun paling around with my best girlfriends Ava & Addy exploring SD's hit spots like Java Mama & Seaworld.
* One day we drove up to Ladera Ranch to try out a fun park with Addison and Mason.
* Baby Lucas came over to see what life has in store for him next year. He was so cute he made me want to be an infant all over again. But Mama put a stop to that.
* William who is Matthew's brother turned 5 and had a fun birthday party with 20 other 5 year olds that I was privileged enough to be invited to even though I'm only 1.

On top of all that we've been going to the library for story time, the kid center at the gym, trying out lots of different parks, shopping and lunching with the ladies. It's a busy life but a fabulous one! Of course the paparazzi can't stop following my onterouge but I guess that is the price of fame. Oh and in case you've been following since day one I'm 17 months old which means I hit the 18 month milestone soon!

Happy Valentine's Day to all of my fans! We hope that this week you remind someone special that you love them or go out of your way to make them feel loved. Who can resist a heart shaped cookie with frosting, a box of candy hearts or just a good old fashion Valentine's Day card? Mama took these photos of me a few weeks ago for my Valentine's Day cards and many of you may remember the "love bug" photo of me from last year that Daddy surprised her with. It was my first V-day at 5 months old. You'll notice I still have those cheeks but overall I've changed a lot!

911 - Firemen to the rescue

We were packing up the car and were minutes away from departing to Thousand Oaks to visit GK & Nina for the weekend. Mama went out to the car to put our suitcase in the trunk and when the door from the kitchen into the garage shut behind her I ran over to the door and started knocking on it (for the record I want to be outside any chance I can get and don't like being left). I then started playing with the door knob and managed to turn the lock. It was only seconds later that Mama returned to the door and turned the knob with no success. She began to panic as she realized her cell phone and the keys were on the kitchen counter and the only window that was open was on the second floor. As Mama banged on the door and tried to get me to turn the lock I began to cry as I thought she was playing a mean game of not letting me outside. Mama then ran over to the neighbors house and phoned Daddy at work. As she heard the words come out her mouth it registered that the soonest he could get there would be 30 minutes and that was too long. She hung up the phone and called 911 within minutes the firetruck was in our driveway and a crew of firemen came to the rescue. One of the firemen ended up climbing up a ladder to the 2nd floor and entered through the only open window! Mama said it was every parents nightmare to have to call 911 - woops! PS A lesson for all of you be sure to have a spare key hidden somewhere ~ you just never know!

Last weekend I got to meet Mason Gomez. Mason's Mama and my Mama grew up together in Thousand Oaks. He is a very cute and jolly little guy, it was nice to him. Thanks for coming Mason hope to see you again soon.Last weekend we also had a heat wave and were able to spend the evening at the beach watching Daddy surf, building sand castles and dipping our feet in the moist sand and cool water. I'm looking forward endless beach days this summer.

I'm 16 months this week. Recently I started calling my Mama Amy, at first my parents got a kick out of it but now my mom corrects me and says it's Mommy to you. Whats the deal here everyone else calls her Amy? A few other words I've added to my vocabulary these past few weeks are Na No, yes, ssssssssss if for snake, nite nite, boo boo, okay and other animal sounds. A few photos of me enjoying life!

Feeling fine in 09 & New Years in Mammoth

Wishing you all the best in 2009! We're happy to say good bye to 2008, although it was a big year for me after all I did learn to roll over, sit up, eat people food, crawl, walk, run, talk and master being the princess of our home. But over all this nation wide economic crisis is really getting me down and I'm hopeful 09 will be a better year.

We were lucky enough to have been invited to Mammoth by the Glatfelter Family to ring in the NY. We drove the 6 hour drive on Monday night landing us there at 2 AM. Spent 2 full days playing in the snow, chillin in the cabin, eating good food and best of all hanging out with Mason's parents & grandparents. I had a lot of fun chasing Mason around, giving him lots of kisses and playing with his toys. Our daddy's did their best to take us sledding on the golf course but it was not easy walking through 4 ft of snow. I did not care I loved the snow regardless of whether or not I was laying in it or eating it. For NYE we went to Burgers for a 5:00 dinner where I ate french fries and a vanilla milkshake, minutes after finishing my food I proceeding to throw up all over the floor and myself. The altitude got the best of me and I had trouble adapting to the change in elevation. We then went back to the cabin and waited for the New York count down! Thanks again Glatfelter Family we had a fabulous time!

Merry Merry in San Fran - My 2nd x mas!

To all my fans I hope you had a joyful Christmas with you and yours and that your 2009 is all that and more! This Christmas my parents and I flew up to San Fransisco to visit my Daddy's family. We left on the 24th to find the airport was a nightmare and our flight was 3 hours delayed. I was very edgy after the first hour of waiting but we got there in one piece to find out our luggage was not with us but some how the my car seat did make our flight (can you say Christmas miracle?) We arrived in Pacifica and had a Christmas eve pre party at Zannie's where we exchanged gifts with Papa Tony, Auntie Trisha, Anthony, Vito & Bodie. Papa Tony gave me a pink princess backpack with wheels that I just loved and I also got lots of very stylish clothes, toys & books!

On to the next party at Auntie Michelle's house in San Mateo where I slept straight through her Christmans Eve gathering do to my long day of traveling. Sorry Michelle but I heard the food was good and the exchange was lots of fun, I also heard the boys got a little nutty and shocked the life out of themselves with the shock game, silly boys!
Christmas morning we ate breakfast with Auntie Trish & Zannie and then headed over to Grandpa Isaac's for brunch, more visiting and even more gifts! I met baby Alexi and gave her hugs, opened my presents and tore through Grandpa & Vivian's home. It was time for a long Christmas nap.
Christmas evening we had dinner and Kris Kringle at Great Uncle Fords & Auntie Ann's home. I was the life of the party and had everyone going with my clapping and hands in the air. I really liked my little toy box from Auntie Michelle, outfit from Nana & Papado, Pj's and I must thank you all for contributing to my education fund. Look out Harvard here I come!
On the 26th Grandpa Isaac took us to Mexican food for lunch and then to a very fun park that Daddy used to go to when he was a little boy called Frontier land.
That evening Patricia & Zac hosted a party for Daddy and a few of his school mates from his childhood along with their kids. We had so much fun playing with all of Carlie's toys, eating the delicious food & catching up. Thanks again P for having us!
We had a wonderful time seeing everyone but I did miss my Nina, GK and all of my cousins! We were thinking of them everyday wondering what trouble they were into. Thanks Nina & GK for my red car & new clothes I'm going be one hot babe driving down the street.

Well that sums up our very busy, but oh so fun trip to San Fran! Stay tuned because were off to Mammoth to bring in the new year with Mason & Parents! Snow here I come.

Well I met the infamous Santa Claus today and personally it was no sweat! Rumor has it that I was the most cheerful friendly 1 year old he has see all year. Hey fans ~ I know it's been awhile since I've posted my latest stats so here you are! I apologize; I'm just really busy ramping up my career and as you know I want to keep my blog personal so I prefer to do it myself. Here are some updates: I'm talking up a storm! Therefore, careful what you say around me! A few of the words I've added to my list are- Thank you, ABC, Cheese & Jacket!

This weekend Isabella had her 1st b-day party at JW Tumbles. I had a lot of fun playing with all the neat toys and the other kids. Of course when they rolled out the red carpet for the b-day girl to walk down I ran out in front of everyone to show them how it's done!

I love to read books to my parents and yes that is right I prefer to do the reading!

When in the bath tub when Mama says go swimming I throw my head back and move my arms up and down and kick my feet. It's really fun you should try it sometime!

PS I'll be 15 months on the 18th!!
